SDG 12: OUR PURPOSE

FEEDSTOCK

Most clothes remain in the wild long after being discarded. Therefore, we seek to act consciously in our choices.

HOW DO WE REDUCE THE IMPACT?

Nature is invited to participate in the life cycle of our pieces. From generation to generation, through timeless design and quality raw material. This life cycle, which we try to prolong for as long as possible!
We opted for most of our choice of natural or biodegradable fabrics such as: silk, cotton and eco-polyamide (which decomposes in nature in the long term).
ACT LOCALLY, THINK GLOBALLY.

Kontenta wants to promote the local market and support small producers.
Therefore, our pieces are produced nationally, more precisely in the south and southeast regions, for small productions. We know that the journey of raw materials also has its impact, which is why we ensure that most of our fabrics are nationally produced.

PACKAGING

It's not just fabrics and clothing that make an impact on the fashion industry. We know that packaging also generates a significant amount of waste. Therefore, in addition to opting for some of our stationery items to be made from recycled paper, we also joined eureciclo , a Brazilian initiative that compensates for the waste produced by our packaging. In this way, 22% of all the waste produced by our packaging is compensated by the recycling of the seal cooperatives.
